GOVERNING BODIES OF FUNDACIÓN HISPÁNICA
The Board of trustees and the Executive Committee of Fundación Hispánica
As part of its organizational culture, the Fundación Hispánica and the other foundations within the scope of the Beatriz building do not have administrative expenses or employees. Its founder, Luis Valls Taberner, always ensured that all received funds were allocated to social action without operational expenses: the trustees, managers, and administration should be covered by volunteers. The technical advisory work that the Fundación Hispánica provides to other foundations or various projects is also carried out by experts on a voluntary basis.
The Board of trustees of the Fundación Hispánica
The jurisdiction of the Board of Trustees extends to everything concerning the governance, representation, and administration of the Foundation, without any exception or limitation, to the interpretation of the bylaws and the resolution of any incidents or issues that arise in the course of its activities, without prejudice to the powers of the Protectorate recognized in the applicable legislation.
The members of the Board of Trustees of the Fundación Hispánica are:
President: Francisco Aparicio Valls
Vice President: José Antonio Torre de Silva
Member: María Esperanza Díez Estella
Member: Celestino Valdés Más
Member: Juan Millán López
Secretary, not patron: María José Cantón Góngora.
The Executive Committee
The ordinary management of the Foundation is delegated to an Executive Committee that performs its functions by managing the Foundation’s operations, controlling its financial status, and analyzing and resolving aid requests. It also prepares reports that are submitted for the Board of Trustees’ decision. The committee meets at least ten times a year and whenever the urgency of matters requires it.
Bylaws
Fundación Hispánica is a private, non-profit cultural institution of general interest that carries out its activities in Spain and abroad, either directly and/or through other non-profit entities.
Fundación Hispánica pursues four objectives:

2.To support educational, cultural and health-related initiatives, as well as welfare projects aimed at the social inclusion of people at risk of exclusion and social assistance for the most disadvantaged groups.
3.To promote, preserve and, where appropriate, revitalize the many Hispanic and Latin institutions, as well as to disseminate throughout the world the roots and values of this culture.
4.To serve as a vehicle for channeling and promoting the social action of companies and institutions, as well as helping to create, establish and endow foundations and social initiatives, not only in Spain.
