Mission and vision
Unlike many foundations that are created with specific and specialized goals (such as environmental protection, eradicating hunger, or supporting the fight against disease), Fundación Hispánica centers its aid on people. It focuses on their needs, projects, and concerns, regardless of what they do or where they come from.
About the Fundación Hispánica
The Protectorate of Foundations of the Ministry of Culture and Sport supervises the Foundation. Its full current name is Fundación Hispánica (Fondo para Atenciones Sociales).
Fundación Hispánica aims to address the needs of individuals, support their educational, cultural, and social initiatives, and promote Hispanic history, language, and culture.
Foundation’s objectives
Fundación Hispánica seeks to receive, manage, and apply all the resources it receives through donations, legacies, grants, trusts, or personal contributions to contribute to the common good in the broadest sense.
Within this overall aim are the promotion of culture and professional training at all levels. Specifically, it supports the development of individuals through study and talent development, assisting people and institutions with similar needs or projects, and promoting the dissemination of culture, particularly Hispanic culture.
Activities and programs of the Fundación Hispánica
To fulfill these objectives, the Foundation typically undertakes the following activities, among others: promoting, fostering, and participating in institutions or entities with similar or complementary goals; cooperating in the organization and financing of cultural and educational centers and activities; helping to promote individuals by funding education and collaborating in solving social problems.
Finally, the Foundation aims to serve as a channel, through contributions from interested individuals to achieve, for the goals and projects in which the Foundation is involved.
These are the programs:
1. Program for supporting cultural and social welfare progress
Targeted at individuals and groups at risk of exclusion, especially in developing countries. This is achieved through microcredit programs and other initiatives to improve educational, social, and health conditions.
2. Program for supporting quality education
It aims to facilitate access to education for individuals who lack the financial means to complete their training, with particular attention to projects that contribute to labor market integration.
3, Program for promoting Hispanic culture
It is dedicated to promoting and advancing all aspects of Hispanic culture.
